Comics in Education with The Durham Black Educators Network
The Durham Black Educators Network put on a fantastic Community Celebration event as a finale to their Saturday School programming for 2022. I was honoured to be a part of it.
Over the course of four workshops, I had the opportunity to teach a very talented group of grade five, six, seven & eight students about the process of character creation, storytelling and making comics.
A major shout-out goes to all the organizers of the program, the parents who signed up their kids and, of course, the students who participated and gave their best efforts.
I have nothing but an endless thanks for all your support.
The future is looking bright.
